Step Number 1: As the system restart, we need to access our boot option to solve the problem .To assess the boot menu you need to continuously press the F8 key. After that, you will get the advanced boot menu options.

Step Number 2: On Advanced boot screen there are several options depends on your system BIOS, you need to select the Safe Mode with Networking by pressing the arrow key, and then hit return(ENTER) to start the PC with Safe Mode .

Step Number 3: When your system started in Safe Mode then just login with your super user (ADMINISTRATOR) account.

Step Number 4: Now you are in desktop and let’s check all of your settings (Desktop).You can move around and check the default applications or third party software too.

Step Number 5: Now you need to go to your system Control Panel, for that you need to click the windows start menu icon the left corner of your desktop, and you see control panel tab, click on control panel.

Step Number 6: Basically, your control panel screen is with few program displayed there, you need to check the View by a large icon from the right side of the screen with drop down items.

Step Number 9: From there you just right click Unknown Device option and you can see whose drivers are to be installed or need to update.

Step Number 10: Click on Update Driver software to install the device driver. Be sure check the search automatically option so that all the required device drivers can be updated through the internet

For windows 8 users

In windows 8, during the system startup we cannot open the safe mode by pressing F8 or shift+ F8 keys. The Administrator must need to enable the advanced legacy boot menu manually. How to manually enable Legacy Advanced Boot Menu-

  1. Restart your windows 8 system.
  2. Enter the system BIOS and configure the system to boot it from the optical drive (CD/DVD drive).
  3. Then save the settings and reboot the system.
  4. After that insert your windows DVD into the CD/DVD drive.
  5. When you see the text Press any key to boot from CD or DVD hit return or any key you want.
  6. Then windows Setup box displayed and you need to click next.
  7. Then you need to click Repair Your Computer.
  8. From the Troubleshoot screen, you need to click “Advanced options”.
  9. Then you need to click Command Prompt.
  10. On opened CMD window, you need to type C: and press return key (ENTER).
  11. On C: you just type this command “BCDEDIT /SET {DEFAULT} BOOTMENUPOLICY LEGACY” press ENTER.
  12. Then type EXIT to close the CMD window.
  13. From the Choose an Options window click Continue to restart the PC.
  14. Then just eject the installation media (Windows 8 DVD).
  15. Complete.
